Hot & Cold : ウィキペディア英語版
Hot & Cold

Hot & Cold was founded in 2005 in New Delhi, India by Joshua and Simon Frank. The brothers first paired lo-fi bass and megaphone vocals. After moving to Beijing, China in 2006, Joshua and Simon, then 20 and 18 respectively, began to accumulate an arsenal of effects pedals, quite literally launching themselves at Beijing audiences in frenzied 20-minute sets.
Their debut album is Any Monkey Is Dangerous. Their angular riffs and keyboard jabs have drawn comparison to New York no wave and Cabaret Voltaire, while the lo-fi drum loops, rollicking basslines and irreverent vocals evoke The Fall in both sound and attitude, while touches of yesteryear Bollywood is added into the mix.
Hot & Cold is the only non-Chinese group signed to Maybe Mars, and they have a dedicated audience composed mostly of Chinese musicians making waves in China and abroad, establishing themselves as an integral part of Beijing's music scene.
